49ers' Ricky Pearsall invited to NFLPA Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles

The NFLPA has extended invites to 40 players for its annual Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles from May 16-19. Among the invitees is the San Francisco 49ers' first-round draft pick, wide receiver Ricky Pearsall.

The event allows the NFL's incoming class to network and engage with NFL partners for potential marketing deals. It also gives fans a chance to see rookies in their team uniforms for the first time, as publicity and trading card photos are often taken at the event.

Pearsall joined his rookie teammates in Santa Clara this week for the 49ers' rookie minicamp. The team has practices scheduled for Friday and Saturday, with the Friday session open to the media.

San Francisco selected Pearsall out of Florida with the No. 31 overall pick, assigning him jersey No. 14.

When asked about forging his own legacy with the team, Pearsall commented, "Just putting my name into the history. That's really what it is. Just understanding the tradition and history that lies in this organization and how deep it is. Just being able to be a part of it, it's a big blessing for me."
