AC Milan are ready to battle Newcastle and Liverpool for Leeds United player Crysencio Summerville who could soon be offered a new contract by the Championship club.

As reported by Football Transfers, Leeds are very aware of the interest in Summerville and they want to ward it off with a new contract for the winger.

Milan’s interest is said to be reliant on Rafael Leao leaving the club this summer, with links to Paris Saint-Germain intensifying after Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid became inevitable.

Leeds are currently third in the Championship and stand a serious chance of getting back into the Premier League, and that would certainly give them a better chance of keeping Summerville. A new deal is unlikely to be signed by the player until he knows what league Leeds will be in next season.

The interest from Newcastle and Liverpool means that Summerville will almost certainly be in the Premier League, even if Leeds are not.

The 22-year-old has got 17 goals and eight assists in 38 Championship games, but he could end up costing around £45 million if the bids do start to come in. That price will probably rise if they get promoted as their bargaining position strengthens.
